Open Call for HTW Berlin Fellowship | Berlin Art Link
"HTW Berlin has launched IUNO-Innovation Center for Intelligent and Immersive Technologies in the Independent Cultural Scene-a new EU-funded research project supporting artists in developing projects combining AI and XR technologies. IUNO will host an artistic fellowship at HTW Berlin focused on supporting artists in shaping the discourse on the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) and extended reality (XR) in our society."
"Candidates should propose artistic concepts combining AI and XR in interactive cultural projects. This synthesis could be, for example, the use of AI as an artistic subject, as an agent (e.g. as an avatar) or as a tool in XR. Artistic concepts that use the immersive potential of XR to help shape the social discourse on the risks and promises of AI technologies are especially welcome."
"The fellowship includes support in fine-tuning the concept, close collaboration with the IUNO team, access to premises and equipment at HTW Berlin, public networking events and a scientific paper on the project. Applications may be submitted in German or English. From all submissions, one concept will be selected to be co-developed at HTW Berlin as part of an Artistic Fellowship running from May 2026 to January 2027."
