Police sources reported that a 32-year-old man fatally shot himself in the head at the exclusive Aman New York hotel on West 57th Street.
A hotel spokesperson stated, 'This afternoon, emergency services were called... We are fully cooperating with emergency responders and will not comment further.'
The Aman New York is one of the priciest hotels, with rates ranging from $2,133 to $14,932 a night, attracting elite clientele.
Described as opulent, the hotel has been ranked as the best in New York City in 2023 by The World's 50 Best list.
