"Meantime brewery in Greenwich shut back in May 2024, after its owner Asahi decided to move production to west London."
"The new drinking destination is called The Dial, and you'll find it at North Greenwich. As well as serving up classic Meantime pints like Midnight Nitro Brew Stout, Dial Lager and Cutty Haze - which are brewed on site - the place also serves food and shows live sport and local music."
"Greenwich is where Meantime began. The Dial is our chance to honour that history while continuing to explore bold flavours and new beer styles."
Meantime Brewery has reopened in Greenwich this month as a new venue called The Dial at North Greenwich after an absence of about 18 months. Meantime closed its original Greenwich brewery in May 2024 when owner Asahi moved production to west London. The Dial serves on-site brewed Meantime beers including Midnight Nitro Brew Stout, Dial Lager and Cutty Haze, alongside food, live sport screenings and local music. Meantime began in 1999 when Alastair Hook brewed beer in his Greenwich flat for neighbours, grew into a London staple, and was acquired by Asahi in 2016. Head brewer Sven Hartmann framed the venue as a way to honour Meantime's history while exploring new beer styles. The Dial is located at Unit 3, Green Place, Peninsula Square, SE10 0PE.
