The Fuzzy Few Festival in Hummelstown, PA, has evolved over 55 years into a community celebration, showcasing local support and entertainment while addressing social issues like Alzheimer's.
At the festival, I dedicated my evenings to the Alzheimer's Association, providing information and resources to attendees facing dementia-related challenges and promoting the upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer's.
Despite being a free community event with nightly concerts, there seems to be a decline in attendance, prompting questions about community engagement and the impact of moving carnival rides.
YAH Brew remains a key community supporter, engaging in collaborations and fundraising events, emphasizing the importance of local nonprofits in community strengthening.
