Serge Gnabry has resumed running training on the pitch today. Gnabry will miss the games against Arsenal and Union Berlin - and is a doubt for Frankfurt next week.

Leroy Sané and Manuel Neuer are back in team training, two days before the game against Arsenal. It is expected that both players will return to the starting XI against Arsenal FC in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Bitter news for young striker Jonah Kusi-Asare and the FC Bayern U-19. The 16-year-old winter signing from Sweden suffered an ankle injury in the A-Junior Bundesliga game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern ( 3-1 ) and will undergo an operation in the next few days. This means that Kusi-Asare, who has played eight competitive games in a Bayern jersey so far (three goals, one assist), will no longer play in the remaining four games of the season and is expected to be out for a few months.
