Scott McTominay says Manchester United locker room has been "toxic" at times ahead of Champions League match vs. Bayern Munich
Briefly

"It is the players' responsibility, first and foremost, the players know that as well. We have had many amazing players and right now we are at the stage where we have big characters in the dressing-room," McTominay said (as captured by The Daily Mail). "It is not just a case of like some of the other managers where it has been a little bit toxic at times, the boys are firmly behind the manager. That is the way it will stay. "We have got an amazing coaching staff as well so it can get lost in translation with what the players think and what is said behind closed doors, we just want to do well for the football club."
"There's always speculation and different things surrounding every player. You have to perform to stay there, I've known that since being a young boy watching the senior pros here and the academy players. For me, it was get my head down and work hard," McTominay said. "The faith in the manager has been a massive one for me. You want to repay that when you get minutes. That's the life of a footballer, you will get ups and downs, and it's not always sunshine and rainbows. When I get the opportunity I want to take it."
