João Palhinha remains hopeful of a move to Bayern this month. Bayern, on the other hand, would rather spend big on Tuchel's priority target Ronald Araújo.
Fulham are expecting Bayern to make another attempt for Palhinha soon. If the Portuguese midfielder ends up not moving to Munich in January, Bayern's focus in the position would switch to MartÃn Zubimendi and his â¬60m release clause in the summer.
