Favre's name pops up due to his connection with Max Eberl at Borussia Mönchengladbach in the mid-2010s. The Swiss tactician also managed Borussia Dortmund and very nearly drove Bayern out of first place in 2018/19. He most recently managed Nice in Ligue 1.
