OBACHT concept to be deployed at the FC Bayern Campus in future

"OBACHT is FC Bayern's awareness concept, which was developed by the club together with the Munich Fan Project, which is run by AWO München Stadt and fans from the Südkurve. It stands for a culture of watchfulness and respectful interaction and pursues the goal of enabling all people - regardless of origin, religion, identity, sexual orientation or gender - to enjoy a safer stadium experience."

"OBACHT always helps whenever someone feels uncomfortable, unsafe or overwhelmed in the venues or experiences a situation that crosses personal boundaries - for example in the event of discrimination or insults, harassment or pestering, conflicts and escalations, fear, panic or severe overstimulation. An OBACHT team member listens, reassures and, if necessary, accompanies the person to a protected safe space."

"The awareness team is easily reachable on matchdays, on site via QR codes at the entrances and in the hospitality area as well as by telephone on 0151 19551189. Fans are asked to act respectfully, not to leave affected persons on their own and to seek help via stewards, the fan support or directly via the awareness team."

FC Bayern has implemented OBACHT, an awareness concept developed with the Munich Fan Project, at women's home games starting March 28. OBACHT creates a culture of watchfulness and respectful interaction, enabling all people regardless of origin, religion, identity, sexual orientation, or gender to enjoy safer stadium experiences. The psychologically-trained team from KIT-München addresses discrimination, harassment, conflicts, and other boundary-crossing behavior. On matchdays, the awareness team is accessible via QR codes at entrances and hospitality areas, or by phone at 0151 19551189. Team members listen, reassure, and provide protected safe spaces when needed. Fans are encouraged to act respectfully and seek help through stewards, fan support, or the awareness team directly. Follow-up support is offered to all affected persons after initial contact.
