Coaching Rumor Round-up: Talks between Bayern Munich and Ralf Rangnick heating up; Austria says they haven't been contacted; Rangnick wants control of player personnel moves; Bayern could decide this week
Briefly

Concrete negotiations ongoing between Bayern and Rangnick. Rangnick is the club's 'plan C' after Alonso and Nagelsmann. De Zerbi still on the list, but only with an outside chance.
New talks have taken place in recent days, but a lot still needs to happen. Bayern would need to pay a compensation fee as Rangnick has a contract with the Austrian federation until 2026. Bayern are optimistic. Roberto De Zerbi remains on the shortlist.
Things are getting serious between Bayern and Ralf Rangnick. Contact has already been made - and it will now be intensified and ideas will be exchanged. If all goes to plan, the new coach could be finalized this week.
ÖFB sporting director Peter Schöttel says that there has been no formal inquiry made on Rangnick by anyone. 'Ralf Rangnick has a valid contract. The ÖFB has not received any inquiries. The full focus is on EURO 2024,' Schöttel told Sky Sport.
