I think fans don't realise how important the Nations League is for us. We're playing against tough opponents. We took the euphoria of the Euros to this game, I'm proud of the team. We had many deep runs forward, Kai, Jamal, Flo, myself, it was tough for the opponent to read. We created so many chances.
It's refreshing to hear a player speak highly of the Nations League, especially a 31-year-old veteran like Füllkrug. Hopefully, Germany can carry the momentum into the Tuesday clash with the Netherlands.
