Bayern Munich's campus has proven instrumental in developing young football talent, resulting in the recent contract extensions of Tim Binder, Bogdan Olychenko, and Raphael Pavlić until June 2027. Each player has shown significant improvement; Binder's promotion to the U-23s highlights his rapid development, while Pavlić’s adaptability during an injury crisis has earned him praise. Olychenko, initially overlooked, has made notably impressive contributions. Sporting Director Markus Weinziel expressed optimism in supporting these talents as they transition to the next steps in their careers at Bayern.
These three boys have developed very well during their time with us so far. That's why we are very happy that they will be taking the next steps with us. We will support them with all our strength on their further career path.
Winger Binder impressed the coaches so much with the U-19s that he has been promoted to the U-23s.
Midfielder Olychenko probably showed the greatest improvement of the lot, going from an afterthought for the U-19s to delivering genuinely eye-catching performances.
Regular U-17 center back Pavlić stepped in for the U-19s in both the league and the Youth League in an injury crisis and performed admirably.
