"The DFB Cup quarter-final between FC Bayern and RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena will take place as planned on Wednesday despite the strike by the Verdi union announced for the same day. This is the result of joint efforts by all parties involved, in particular the Munich transport company MVG and the police. MVG is going to provide a special service, whereby underground trains will run at shorter intervals exclusively between Marienplatz and Fröttmaning from 17:30 CET until the end of service, as is customary for FC Bayern home games."
"In addition, the usual bus transfer service from the Donnersberger Brücke S-Bahn station will be increased, this time heading via the Kieferngarten underground station and, if necessary, travelling directly to Karlsplatz (Stachus) after the match. Furthermore, additional shuttle buses will be provided from the car park of the FC Bayern Campus, located just two kilometres from the Allianz Arena."

Additional shuttle buses will operate from the FC Bayern Campus car park. The Allianz Arena opens at 18:30 and kick-off is at 20:45. Significant travel restrictions remain; fans should allow extra time, consider carpooling, and check mvg.de or the MVGO app for updates. The strike affects the U-Bahn, trams and buses up to number 199, and the S-Bahn will be severely restricted from 22:20 due to construction.
