Eberl noted that while Bayern initially struggled to create chances, they improved, but a lapse in defense led to Union's comeback.

In the first half, we didn't create many chances, but we stayed calm and knew we'd get our opportunities. It was clear that it wouldn't be easy. But then we got better into the game and scored, exactly as we had planned, down the wing with a deep run.

Union then pushed forward a bit, we didn't manage things well for a few minutes, and then the equalizer happened. The draw is frustrating, given the dominance we had.
