As well as that, both teams presented a "WE29" banner together in support of the DFB's bid to host UEFA Women's EURO 2029 (' WE29 - Together WE Rise'), with FCB captain Stanway wearing a WE29 armband during the game."

Bayern Munich Women beat TSG Hoffenheim 5-1, securing a tenth straight win in all competitions and a six-point cushion at the top of the table. Hoffenheim took an early lead through a Valesca Ampoorter penalty, but Georgia Stanway equalised on the half hour. Hoffenheim were reduced to ten players before half-time after Lisann Karl received a second yellow card. Bayern dominated the second half, with goals from Alara, a brace by Momoko Tanikawa, and a strike from Arianna Caruso sealing the victory. Carolin Simon marked her 150th appearance for Bayern and 250th Bundesliga match. Players displayed support for Lena Oberdorf and the WE29 campaign before kick-off.
