Bayern Munich and Manuel Neuer have clarified terms for a new one-year contract extension, leaving only selection of an announcement date. The agreement extends Neuer until 2027 and includes a reduced salary estimated at up to €20m gross per year. Signing is expected before Bayern’s final home match of the season against 1. FC Köln on Saturday. The salary reduction is viewed as enabling Neuer to share more playing time with Jonas Urbig next season, supporting Urbig’s development as a goalkeeper.
