Lothar Matthaus says Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller has to change clubs to get more playing time
Briefly

"Thomas Müller's situation looks like a gradual exit. Everything that comes from Bayern on the subject does not correspond to what we see week in, week out...it's difficult to deal with this situation and it's difficult to be satisfied with this situation," Matthäus told Sky Sport (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
"I can't imagine Thomas wanting to stop. He loves playing football too much for that. At Bayern, however, he will no longer get the minutes he got two years ago. If he has the confidence to start like he did two years ago, then he has to change clubs. You have to say that openly," said Matthäus. "It's difficult to imagine Müller leaving FC Bayern, but it was also difficult to imagine Harry Kane moving to Munich, even though Kane is three years younger."
If the 34-year-old wants to play more, he likely will have to take a pay cut wherever he lands - something that Bayern Munich might be planning to offer Müller anyway for his reduced role.
