The club has confirmed that they will not be going into the market to make a reactionary purchase to Stanišić's injury, despite the fact that they will now be even lower on defensive depth.
The player himself does not have a bad track record when it comes to injuries, but it is something that is par for the course at Bayern and Kompany will not be impervious to having to deal with this type of thing.
