The boss wants us to play with high intensity, even when we are leading 1-0 or 2-0, he wants three, four and five goals. We saw that at Werder Bremen, and in the Champions League too. That is our philosophy. We want to push the opponents to limits that they cannot maintain.
It's impressive, we're growing more with every game. You can see the quality in the goals. It was great, especially without the ball, exactly the right mentality as a team. We tried to win back every ball and hardly gave the opponent anything. That's a great mentality.
This was, of course, before Bayern Munich's recent slide in results - 1-1 to Leverkusen, a 1-0 loss at Aston Villa, then a 3-3 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt. Perhaps the Bavarians are running into the limits of their own approach, too.
