Jens Lehmann has accepted a reduced fine over a bizarre incident where he used a chainsaw to damage a neighbor's garage amidst a property dispute.
The incident pointed to a long-standing disagreement with his neighbor, as Lehmann sought to restore his view of Lake Starnberg, blocked by the garage.
Convicted on two counts of damage to property and attempted fraud, Lehmann had his original fine reduced after appealing to the Munich regional court.
His run-ins with law enforcement continued, as he also faced issues after being stopped for suspected drunk driving following a visit to Oktoberfest.
