The IFFHS awards use statistics and an international jury of journalists and experts from 75 countries and cover performances from 1 January to 10 December. Bayern forward Klara Bühl finished fourth in the women's player rankings, tied with Alexia Putellas on 30 points while Aitana Bonmati won with 196 points. Bühl was a key figure in Bayern's first domestic double and Germany's Euros campaign and led Europe's top five leagues in direct goal contributions. Momoko Tanikawa placed fourth in the U20 list after starting 17 games and scoring six goals, including in Champions League wins over Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain. Bayern were third in the IFFHS best club rankings behind Barcelona and Corinthians following an impressive November.
