Bayern Munich have reached out on the player side as they eye a potential transfer move for Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu this summer. No bids made yet, but initial contacts taken place.
Bayern clearly have big plans this summer, with Romano mentioning their imminent deal for Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise and interest in PSG's Xavi Simons. Calhanoglu is another big name on their list for squad revamp.
Calhanoglu would be an exciting signing to bolster Bayern's midfield after missing out on the Bundesliga title last season. Despite Inter's success, Bayern remains an attractive destination.
