Just as the fourth official put up four minutes of stoppage time, Matthijs de Ligt launched the ball forward and found youngster Frans Krätzig, who didn't hesitate to launch a sumptuous half-volley from the edge of the area right into the top corner.
Thankfully, Jamal Musiala netted a quick equalizer, but things were still tense going into the fin.
