Leroy Sané is one player from the Germany contingent that will not be starting regular training at the same time as the rest of them. The winger is still recovering from a groin surgery to repair what had been a recurring injury during the latter stages of last season.
Towards the end of last season when Bayern was making a push to reach the Champions League final, Thomas Tuchel and the club's coaching staff had made the decision to be incredibly delicate with Sané's training minutes to ensure he would be as fresh as possible for the matches, but he has really needed the surgery for a while now.
