According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern has matched Ouédrago's 15 million Euro release clause and offered the 17-year-old a five-year contract running until 2029.
Ouédrago started the season well having fought for a place in Schalke's midfield and managed to bag himself a goal and an assist in 11 appearances for the Bundesliga 2 outfit but has had his progress halted by an injury ankle injury sustained in late October.
While Bayern is always looking to sign the best players, which Ouédraogo could very well turn out to be, questions have to be asked about how many minutes the player would receive as Bayern have a plethora of attacking midfield options.
