Bayern Munich star Serge Gnabry hurt practicing PKs
"I think he injured himself while taking penalties [in training]. That was very, very unfortunate and surprised us all. Serge has done a lot for us this season."
"Of course, it's a pity for him and for us too. But we also have some other guys. I believe our squad is still strong."
Serge Gnabry sustained a torn adductor injury while practicing penalty kicks, which will keep him out for three to four months. Head coach Vincent Kompany expressed surprise at the injury, noting Gnabry's significant contributions to the team this season. Despite the setback, Kompany remains confident in the strength of the squad. Gnabry had been performing well as an attacking midfielder, showing improvement in his central role compared to previous seasons as a winger. The focus now is on his recovery.
