Bayern Munich 'open talks' with relegated Premier League manager

Bayern Munich are reported to have established contact with Vincent Kompany over the possibility of becoming the club's new head coach next season. Kompany began his managerial career with Anderlecht in his native Belgium, but came to wider international prominence for his work guiding Burnley back into the Premier League in 2023.
Sky Sport Germany now reports that he has emerged on Bayern's radar. The club hierarchy are said to 'see a lot of potential' in Kompany, who only recently turned 38, and have already held the 'first concrete discussions' over taking him to Bavaria from Lancashire.
Bayern Munich still haven't found a Thomas Tuchel replacement. The Bundesliga giants were left to consider going back to Thomas Tuchel, having made the decision in February to get rid of him a year early, with their tail between their legs.
