Bayern Munich midfielder Joao Palhinha expects to be ready to go in January
Briefly

"I'm feeling better and better," Palhinha told Sky Sport journalist Kerry Hau. "I'm very happy to be part of this great club. I really like Munich, my family and I have settled in really well. It's a safe, organized and very nice city."
Palhinha will presumably be in competition for the No. 3 midfield spot with Leon Goretzka and Konrad Laimer. Joshua Kimmich looks untouchable as the club's top midfielder and Aleksandar Pavlović had a firm hold on the No. 2 spot prior to his collarbone injury.
While not the same since returning from the injury, most expect Pavlović to retake his starting role when games start back up.
