Michael Olise supplied a series of dangerous crosses that led to the opening goal when Jonathan Tah's header created an opportunity finished by Josip Stanisic. A later cross from Lennart Karl and a deflected Hiroki Ito shot allowed Olise to double the lead from close range. Bayern maintained control into the second half, with Harry Kane nearly adding a third.
