Briefly

Bayern Munich is reportedly on the verge of signing Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz, with an agreement in principle already established. There are two pre-contracts in place: one for this upcoming summer and another for 2026. Uli Hoeneß has played a significant role in facilitating this move, helping to enhance Wirtz's Adidas contract, while Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is actively mediating the transfer. Other clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester City showed interest, but Wirtz's family believes staying in Germany is preferable for now.
It's been known within the industry for weeks that Bayern and Florian Wirtz have an agreement in principle over a transfer in Munich.
The honorary president did the groundwork for the transfer and was in regular contact with Florian's father and agent, Hans Wirtz.
Now Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is supposed to help mediate between Bayern and Leverkusen so that the transfer can go through this summer.
