Travis County signs up for more reclaimed water - Austin Monitor

Commissioner Brigid Shea told the Austin Monitor that the city would be expanding its pipeline to the two court buildings, permanently eliminating Travis County's use of 45 million gallons of water a year.
In materials provided to Council, Austin Water highlighted plans to oversized the reclaimed water mains to cater to more properties downtown. The utility is in the process of hiring engineers to design and plan the reclaimed water lines.
