HOME returns to Council and Planning Commission for public hearing - Austin Monitor
Briefly

Central to the second phase of the HOME initiative is a reduction in the minimum lot size for single-family zoned properties, impervious cover limit increase, and allowance for a variety of housing types like row houses and townhomes, to diversify Austin's housing stock.
The proposed revisions, including changes to properties zoned single-family, height standards near Project Connect stations, citywide compatibility standards, and electric vehicle charging use, are up for discussion at a joint hearing by City Council and the Planning Commission.
