Central Health sends 2025 fiscal year budget to Travis County for final approval - Austin Monitor
Briefly

Central Health's leadership has proposed an $884 million budget aimed at enhancing direct health services and expanding clinics in response to the community's needs.
This new budget marks a significant shift towards investing directly in health care services, with $353 million earmarked specifically for such services, including a record $60 million for Central Health’s own clinics.
The Healthcare Equity Plan is projected to cost nearly $700 million over seven years, with Central Health committing to build more clinics and provide direct health services.
To support this plan, Central Health will draw on its contingency reserves, planning to allocate $98.3 million this year while maintaining a healthy reserve of $396 million.
