Al-Quadin Muhammad agreed to a one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers valued at up to $6 million. He becomes the second Detroit Lions defender to join Tampa Bay this offseason, following linebacker Alex Anzalone. Muhammad had a career year with the Lions in 2025, recording 11 sacks, 9 tackles for loss, and 20 quarterback hits across 17 games. Playing alongside Pro Bowler Aidan Hutchinson, Muhammad earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors after recording three sacks against Dallas. He became the 11th Lions player to achieve double-digit sacks in a season and the third to record multiple games with 2.5 sacks.
