Severe weather shifts towards the Southeast as flash flooding warnings rise
Briefly

Severe storms and flooding that struck the mid-South and mid-Mississippi Valley last week have caused at least 19 fatalities across six states, with Tennessee suffering the most losses. As of Sunday, the threat of severe weather shifted eastward to the Southeast, affecting cities like Atlanta and Mobile, Alabama. Authorities warned of impassable roads and significant flooding. Officials strongly advised residents to stay home as the risk of additional storms, along with possible tornadoes and wind damage, persisted in the region.
We have massive flooding all around the city, and therefore we don't know the integrity of the roads until it's daylight in the morning. Please stay home.
Many roads are flooded, and all others have standing water. Get home and stay home as road integrity won't be fully known until water recedes.
