Falcons projected to take Georgia players in two new mock drafts
Briefly

Despite the University of Georgia's football program success, the Atlanta Falcons have overlooked Bulldogs players in previous drafts. However, the upcoming 2025 NFL draft could change this trend, as it's projected to feature several talented Georgia defensive prospects that fit Atlanta's needs. Analysts are speculating selections including linebacker Jalon Walker and edge rusher Mykel Williams, both of whom are seen as first-round candidates. With new defensive strategies, the Falcons may finally leverage Georgia's talent for bolstering their defense.
Walker’s a versatile defender, having split time between edge and off-ball linebacker at Georgia, and I think his explosive skill set would transfer well from Athens to Atlanta.
