The Atlanta Braves began the meetings Sunday night by acquiring outfielder Jarred Kelenic and two others from the Seattle Mariners in a five-player deal.
The second annual Draft Lottery took place Tuesday with the Cleveland Guardians getting the first overall pick. The Atlanta Braves will have the 24th pick in the first round.
The Braves opted not to protect any of their eligible players from the Rule 5 Draft. They have plenty of 40-man roster space to make a selection.
