Garrett Acton has been placed on the 15-day injured list because of a right shoulder strain. In his place, the Twins have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Luis García. To accommodate García on the 40-man roster, another right-handed pitcher has been designated for assignment. Bobby Nightengale from the Minnesota Star Tribune reported these roster changes.
