Detective Pikachu fans can now preorder a Limited Edition Steelbook of the film on 4K UHD Blu-ray, which is set to release on April 29 for $28. While a previous Best Buy-exclusive steelbook is no longer available, other formats exist at lower prices, such as the $15 4K version and a $5.56 standard Blu-ray, all offering the same bonus features. The film notably changed perceptions of video game adaptations and was once the highest-grossing in its category, now ranking third after The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
