Braves recall Bryce Elder to start Tuesday's game in Milwaukee
Briefly

As expected, the Atlanta Braves announced Tuesday that they have recalled right-hander Bryce Elder from Gwinnett. Brian Snitker announced after Monday's loss that Elder would start Tuesday's game in Milwaukee.
Elder takes the roster spot of Darius Vines, who was designated for assignment Monday night. Atlanta needed a starter Tuesday after electing to push Chris Sale and the rest of the rotation back for an extra day of rest.
Vines allowed three runs (two earned) in the eighth inning of Monday's loss. He's allowed 21 hits and 13 earned runs in 13 2⁄3 innings across four appearances at the major league level this season.
