As noted by Baseball America's Carlos Collazo, multiple notable Braves pitchers have come through the system during Davis' tenure, including Hurston Waldrep, Spencer Strider, Spencer Schwellenbach and AJ Smith-Shawver. The Athletic's David O'Brien adds the the expectation is that this is not the beginning of wholesale changes in their player development department."
