Braves News: Travis d'Arnaud cranks three homers, Luke Williams gets the call, and more
Briefly

Travis d'Arnaud was the player of the game, launching three home runs, one of them in grand fashion. Marcell Ozuna and Michael Harris II also delivered runs for the good guys, but d'Arnaud's six RBI are what gave the Braves plenty of insurance against the strong Rangers lineup.
Things were clicking for the Braves on the other side of the ball, too, as Chris Sale made a solid start, tossing seven innings and allowing three earned runs. He struck out seven and surrendered one base on balls. Tyler Matzek and Pierce Johnson each recorded a scoreless inning and helped lead the Braves to their 13th win of the season.
Ahead of Friday's series opener, the Braves selected the contract of infielder Luke Williams and optioned outfielder Forrest Wall to Triple-A Gwinnett. Williams claimed the 26th spot on the roster.
The Colorado Rockies placed starter Kyle Freeland on the 15-day injured list with a left elbow strain. He is expected to take four to six weeks to recover.
