The Atlanta Braves are reportedly planning to promote right-handed pitching prospect Spencer Schwellenbach from Double A Mississippi for his major league debut.
Schwellenbach, the Braves' No. 3 prospect, underwent Tommy John surgery after the 2021 draft. His strong performance in the minors, including not allowing a run in 13 innings at Double A, led to the promotion.
