The Atlanta Braves organization is experiencing difficulties as their major league team starts the season with a loss streak of 0-7 after a recent game against the Dodgers. The situation worsens for their High-A affiliate, the Rome Emperors, who have had to relocate their home-opening series to Winston-Salem due to a pipe burst in their clubhouse causing significant damage. The club communicated this issue to fans, underscoring their commitment to player and fan experience and professionalism as they navigate these challenges.
Due to a pipe bursting in the Rome clubhouse causing significant damage earlier this week, our stadium is currently not in a condition that meets the standards we hold ourselves to for your game-day experience.
As a result, we will be relocating our 2025 home opening series to Winston-Salem. While this was a difficult decision, it was made with the full support of our partners and league officials.
