Suej McCall is a watercolor artist who trained at Mills College and the College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. She has taught art for three decades. Recent paintings draw inspiration from visits to New Mexico and travels in Europe. Progressive sight loss places her at risk of becoming blind. Gallery 9 member McCall titled her latest exhibit "My Last Picture Show... maybe." The exhibit runs Dec. 30 through Feb. 1. The artist will attend an opening reception on Jan. 3.
