Over the River and Through the Woods follows single 29-year-old Nick as two sets of intrusive Italian-American grandparents in New Jersey scheme to keep him from relocating to Seattle for a job promotion. Joe DiPietro wrote the play in 1998 and also wrote the musicals I Love, You're Perfect, Now Change, the short-lived Diana about Princess Diana, and Memphis, which won four Tonys. Jeffrey Bracco directs the City Lights production. The cast includes Karen DeHart, John Mannion, Deb Anderson, Joseph "Joe" Walters, Filip Hofman and Delaney Bantillo.
