Mosca Bianca Ceramic Workshop / AACM - Atelier Architettura Chinello Morandi
Briefly

Mosca.Bianca is an innovative workshop designed as an exhibition space focused on terracotta crafting. Shaped like clay on a potter's wheel, the space features a model that emphasizes a central zenithal light and a monolithic altar that contrasts with the surrounding structures. This altar serves a dual purpose as functional furniture, revealing working chairs when opened. The materials used reflect the cyclical nature of terracotta production, while hidden modeling tools maintain a narrative coherence during workshops, vividly illustrating the artisanal process from raw materials to showcased art.
The Mosca.Bianca workshop, designed as a sculptural exhibition space, embodies the process of terracotta crafting, integrating artistry and functionality.
The design's centripetal force and monolithic altar showcase the autonomy of the space, balancing between tectonic structures and lightweight furniture.
