"Visiting with kids: Kids and families receive a warm welcome at MoAD. Our elevator makes it easy to navigate with a stroller, and kids ages 12 and under always receive free admission. Museums For All:Visit MoAD through Museums for All - Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) can gain free or reduced admission to more than 700 museums throughout the United States simply by presenting their EBT card. Free entry is available for up to 4 individuals per EBT card."
MoAD is a contemporary art museum celebrating Black cultures, igniting challenging conversations, and inspiring learning through the global lens of the African Diaspora. The museum is closed Mondays and open Tuesday–Sunday 11 am–5 pm, with extended hours Thursday noon–8 pm. General admission is $15; seniors, students, and educators $7; youth under 12, members, and active duty military free. Monthly 'THRIVE @ MoAD Community Day' provides free admission every second Saturday, subject to calendar changes. Families are welcome; strollers are accommodated and children 12 and under are always free. Museums for All accepts EBT for reduced or free admission.
