Michael Arden and Dane Laffrey, seasoned collaborators in the world of Broadway, reflect on their 25-year partnership that began at Interlochen. Transitioning from acting to directing in the 2010s, they have created notable productions like A Christmas Carol and the upcoming musicals The Queen of Versailles and The Lost Boys. Their recent work, Maybe Happy Ending, a unique original musical about two helper robots in a retirement home, has garnered them Tony nominations, illustrating their innovative and impactful contributions to theatre.
