Neon, founded by Dimitris Daskalopoulos, is concluding its operations after 14 years, having achieved its cultural and social objectives. From 2012 to 2026, it organized 44 exhibitions featuring 105 commissioned works by various artists. Neon contributed to archaeological sites and funded the renovation of a historic building in Athens, transforming it into a cultural center. The final project will be a series by Michael Rakowitz, concluding with a new commission at the Old Acropolis Museum, in collaboration with the Hellenic Ministry of Culture.
